Who is responsible

omty, the company behind Patibuddy (patibuddy.com). Our postal address and the email for KVKK requests will be added to this page soon.

What we collect

• Launch list: your email address and who you are (animal lover, vet, business or charity).
• Early sign-up: clinic or business name, business type, district and city, and email address.
• With both forms: the language you used, the consent sentence you ticked and when you ticked it, as a record of your consent.
• When you open the site: your IP address, the date and time, the address you opened, and your browser and device details (server logs).
• When you send a form: an irreversible hash of your IP address, used to limit repeated sending from the same place.

We collect all of this electronically and automatically: you send us what you type into the forms, and our server records the logs on its own when you open the site.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To email you when the app or the panel opens. We send this only with the consent you give in the form (KVKK Art. 5/1; Law No. 6563 on electronic commerce).
• To email clinics and businesses that signed up early when the panel opens (with the consent you give in the form, KVKK Art. 5/1). If you then decide to sign a contract with us for the panel, we process your details from that point to set up the contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
• To be able to show that you really gave your consent (the consent record; KVKK Art. 5/2-ç, our legal obligation under Articles 7 and 13 of the Regulation on Commercial Communications and Commercial Electronic Messages).
• To keep the site and the forms secure and working, and to spot abuse and attacks (server logs and the IP hash; KVKK Art. 5/2-f, legitimate interest).

We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.

Where it goes

What you enter in the forms is stored on our server in Istanbul. We rent the server from a hosting company in Türkiye; only the omty team can access the data. The fonts and photos on this site also load from our own server, so opening a page sends no request to a third-party photo or font service.

The site is served through Cloudflare for speed and security. When you open a page or send a form, your IP address, browser details and what you entered pass through Cloudflare's network, which also has servers abroad. We are completing the legal basis for this transfer under Article 9 of KVKK.

If authorities such as the Ministry of Trade, the Personal Data Protection Authority or a court ask under the law, we give them the records they request.

This site sets no cookies. Your language choice is kept only in your own browser.

How long we keep it

Form details: we use them until the launch email (for early sign-ups, the panel email) is sent or until you withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. After that we don't use them to email you, and the clinic or business name and the district and city are deleted.

Consent record: your email address, the consent sentence you ticked, the dates you gave and withdrew consent, and the form language are kept for 3 years after your consent ends, and records of the emails we sent are kept for 3 years from sending. Article 13 of the Regulation on Commercial Communications and Commercial Electronic Messages requires this. We keep these records only to show your consent if there is a complaint or an inspection, and delete them when the period ends.

Server logs: kept in daily files and deleted automatically after 30 days at most. The IP hash: deleted within 1 hour at most.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you can apply to us to find out whether your data is processed, request information if it is, learn why it is processed and whether it is used for that purpose, know who it has been passed to in Türkiye or abroad, ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or wrong, ask for it to be erased or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7, ask that any correction or erasure be passed on to those who received your data, object to a result against you that comes solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing. You can withdraw your email consent at any time with the link in each email.
